    ZGF series DC high voltage Generator tester is a new generation portable DC high voltage tester designed and manufactured according to the new Chinese power industry standard DL/T848.1-2004 "General technical conditions for DC high voltage generators".     What should be paid attention to when using DC high voltage generator?


    DC high voltage generator is mainly used for DC withstand voltage test of high voltage electrical equipment, such as generators, transformers, power cables, zinc oxide surge arresters and other high voltage electrical equipment. The scope of application covers different industries of power, steel, industrial and mining, and metallurgy. For the testing of high voltage electricity, safety has always been a top priority. ZGF series DC high voltage generators have the advantages of portability and high test accuracy, and have been widely recognized by users. So what issues need attention in the process of using the instrument? As follows :
    1. The DC high-voltage generator must be used in strict accordance with Article 168 of the "Electrical Safety Regulations". At the same time, before the test power supply enters the equipment, two obvious disconnect points must be installed. The power disconnection points are clearly disconnected.
    2. Make sure that the grounding wires of the tester control box, voltage doubler and the test object are connected well before the test. The ground wire of the test circuit is grounded strictly in accordance with the equipment manual.
    3. The discharge of the large-capacitance test sample shall be performed by a 100Ω / V discharge resistance rod. When discharging, pay attention that the discharge rod can not immediately contact the test object, but gradually approach the test object until a certain distance from the air gap begins to free hiss. When there is no sound, you can use the discharge rod to discharge, and finally directly connect the ground wire to discharge.
    4. During the test, testers should not shake hands with each other or touch the ground with their hands. Otherwise, a slight electric shock will occur. This is because when the DC high voltage is 200 kV and above, the testers wear insulation boots and Outside the safety distance, however, the influence of the high-voltage DC ion space electric field distribution causes different DC potentials on several standing bodies nearby. This phenomenon is more pronounced in dry areas and in winter, but it generally does not cause harm to people due to less energy.
    5. After the test, be sure to hang the ground wire to the high-voltage output end before removing the high-voltage lead.
    6. Note that when using the test instrument, you must confirm that there is reliable grounding. Do not hold the high-voltage outgoing cable in your hand. Pay attention to safety.
